CIYD

CIYD Exec are delighted to launch a new Youth Ministry resource for Youth Leaders. Young people around the world are calling for change. The pack will help Christian youth leaders and groups to understand the climate and biodiversity emergencies and how we can rise to the challenge to ‘Care for Creation’.

This pack is a 2 year programme that gathers resources to inform and inspire young people to take action on the environment – to extend God’s Kingdom on earth. It provides activities for worship, Bible study, prayer, activities and action. Updates to this pack will be provided quarterly by email with links to resources you can print and file in this folder.

The resources are kindly provided by our partners Tearfund Ireland and Christian Aid Ireland. Simon and Steve will be distributing hard copies of the pack to youth leaders in due course and the pack will also be downloadable from our website shortly.

Please encourage any youth or children’s leaders to join us Tuesday 19th November 7:30-9pm in the Diocesan Centre.

Oh and don’t forget Advent Kickstart Saturday 30th November 3:30pm – 6pm at the Acorn Centre, St Peter’s Londonderry. What’s in store? A Christmas jumper competition, fun and games, music and a time of worship led by Eglinton Parish music group. And, of course, more pizza. All young people and leaders welcome.

Dig out your Stetsons and spurs;

Dig out your Stetsons and spurs; break out your best gingham dresses.

There’s gonna be some mighty fine partying a-happening in the White Horse Hotel on Thursday 21st November

. Tribute acts will pay homage to country giant Garth Brooks, the inimitable Elvis and the Queen of Country, herself, Miss Dolly Parton.

Check out our poster. No fighting’, no moonshine and no cussin’ – else there’ll be trouble. Please tell all the folks in the valley and beyond.
